The Light of the morning
Have you experienced “The Light of the Morning” – ‘first light of the daybreak on a morning without clouds in the sky, glistening upon the tender grass that springs from the earth after the rain!’ 2 Samuel 23:4
Breaking the darkness, it rejuvenates the heart and soul of the one who experiences it, embracing them with peace, joy and hope of a new beginning!
This blog comes out of my innermost desire, the seed sown in my heart six years back, but I delayed this out of hesitation, overthinking, laziness and perhaps perfectionism. But better late than never!… I finally decided that rather than trying to be perfect, let me share the goodness I experienced and grow along in my journey.
I was always intrigued by the young adults and teens of the present generation. Their mind is filled with lots of questions about life, religion and God, arising out of the immense exposure to media, friends from various backgrounds and witnessing the contradictory lifestyle of adults around them.
This lifestyle blog is for all the curious minds of all ages with lots of why’s, who want to pursue Truth, not just by reading and hearing but want to experience it.
We come into this beautiful world on our ‘Journey of Life’ with an invaluable gift from God – the power of choice – free will given only to mankind.
Our memories of past experiences, the present environment and our knowledge acquired through studies and other inputs, the feelings and emotions we store in our mind influences the choice we make. The choices we make, opportunities missed or used, our priorities and our values shape our life.
This beautiful journey is unique to each one of us with its own ups and downs!
Do we have to navigate this journey alone with our own intelligence and resources?
Many in their own busyness of handling their journey forget to look unto a sovereign companion – our creator and keeper.
Can He show up real to us in this journey?
Do we have to strive hard alone on our unique journey?How wonderful it will be if young adults and teens set out on this beautiful journey along with an everlasting companion who is real to them listening to their heart, answering their why’s, sharing their loads, strengthening them from within, working for them from behind, guiding them in their crossroads and encouraging them to move forward in their journey !
I desire that this small effort will help you experience all the goodness of ‘the Light of the morning’, and rejunevate you to move forward in your journey with Peace, Joy and Hope…

DAY 1 of 12 : 12 reasons for Celebration!
The Anointed one is born!" For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2 :11
Angels announced that the baby born is ‘Christ the Lord.’
Christ meaning ‘the anointed one’ – a person who is specially empowered for a special task, purpose.
Angels announced that this baby Jesus was anointed as a Saviour.Saviour !?...... to save from what???
Oh! Do I need a saviour?
Ain’t I Strong enough, Wise enough, Smart enough to navigate my journey alone ?The angels announced that he came as a saviour to accompany us in our journey…..
to save us from unknown darkness !
- from unknown dangers and evil – with a ring of protection around us !
- from unexpected jolts of life – with help and strength to recover !
to save us from the world !
- to not to be upset or distracted from people’s attitudes and behaviour – and to move forward with the right attitude completing our tasks!
- from the temptations of this world (its glamour, pleasures, money) – and to make the right choices!
to save us from our own flesh (self) !
- from our own flesh’s weakness, emotions – and not lose our focus and purpose!
- from our own bubble world – and give us a true realization of ourself !
- from any past shame or guilt that haunts –and fill our mind with calm and cheer!
- to bear the consequence of our ignorance and restore us – and give us the understanding of the present!
- to take our punishment for the rebellion – and draw us back with acceptance!
- to take our punishment for the wickedness – and give us hope of freedom !
- to save us from our wounds –and to heal our soul and body !
- to break the hurdles before us … real or imaginary – and help us move forward and accomplish what we ought to!

Good tidings of Great Joy
is it really Good tidings of Great Joy for me!?
Good tidings of Great Joy!!! - 12 reasons for Celebration !And the Angel said unto them, “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” Luke 2 :10
Over 2000 years ago, in the fields near Bethlehem the host of angels were excited to announce the birth of baby Jesus to the Shepherds. Even after over 2000 years, we look forward every year to enter this Christmas season with Joy and Cheer….
- … a mood of festivities and preparations all around !
- … a month of lights, trees, trinkets and stars !
- … a time with loved ones, gatherings, good food, gifts and cheer !
- … a sound of carols, skits and fun!
What’s so special about this baby born?
Why is it a ‘Good tiding of Great Joy’ ?We read about and celebrate some people …. high achievers or noble beautiful souls or people of power, status, wealth … all who make an impact. But unless we experience some goodness of that person in our life or have a personal touch with them, we don’t realize and enjoy the real worth of that person.
In these 12 days shall we look into 12 Promises, Hope given in the ‘Word’ about this baby Jesus.
- Shall we ponder over if we have experienced the goodness of ‘these Promises’ for real in our life ?
- Shall we look into our heart to see if for something within it,..we can look forward with ‘this Hope’ ?
- Shall we ponder over the relevance of ‘these promises‘ in our day-to-day life ?
- Shall we try to identify his presence and the power of his presence in our
day-to-day life ?
“GOOD TIDINGS of GREAT JOY” – the Angels sang with excitement!
