The Light of the morning
Have you experienced “The Light of the Morning” – ‘first light of the daybreak on a morning without clouds in the sky, glistening upon the tender grass that springs from the earth after the rain!’ 2 Samuel 23:4
Breaking the darkness, it rejuvenates the heart and soul of the one who experiences it, embracing them with peace, joy and hope of a new beginning!
This blog comes out of my innermost desire, the seed sown in my heart six years back, but I delayed this out of hesitation, overthinking, laziness and perhaps perfectionism. But better late than never!… I finally decided that rather than trying to be perfect, let me share the goodness I experienced and grow along in my journey.
I was always intrigued by the young adults and teens of the present generation. Their mind is filled with lots of questions about life, religion and God, arising out of the immense exposure to media, friends from various backgrounds and witnessing the contradictory lifestyle of adults around them.
This lifestyle blog is for all the curious minds of all ages with lots of why’s, who want to pursue Truth, not just by reading and hearing but want to experience it.
We come into this beautiful world on our ‘Journey of Life’ with an invaluable gift from God – the power of choice – free will given only to mankind.
Our memories of past experiences, the present environment and our knowledge acquired through studies and other inputs, the feelings and emotions we store in our mind influences the choice we make. The choices we make, opportunities missed or used, our priorities and our values shape our life.
This beautiful journey is unique to each one of us with its own ups and downs!
Do we have to navigate this journey alone with our own intelligence and resources?
Many in their own busyness of handling their journey forget to look unto a sovereign companion – our creator and keeper.
Can He show up real to us in this journey?
Do we have to strive hard alone on our unique journey?How wonderful it will be if young adults and teens set out on this beautiful journey along with an everlasting companion who is real to them listening to their heart, answering their why’s, sharing their loads, strengthening them from within, working for them from behind, guiding them in their crossroads and encouraging them to move forward in their journey !
I desire that this small effort will help you experience all the goodness of ‘the Light of the morning’, and rejunevate you to move forward in your journey with Peace, Joy and Hope…

Abraham’s Journey ! ❤️
YAHWEH YIREH - “On the mountain of the LORD, it will be provided.”
Long long ago,
Abraham made a journey,
Along with his precious one,
to the mountain of the Lord !1
Was his heart full of questions and anxiety ?
or
Was it filled of fear of loss of his precious ?
or
Was it full of Trust ?
or
Was it waves of doubt and trust ?
Anyways, he decided to walk to the mountain.
with a little anticipation to see what God would do this time,
for he had seen the Might of God in his past !
When doubt and fear crept in,
he replaced it with the promises he received,
also memories of times he had seen God's outstretched arm for him,
and trust in God's Goodness and Mercy for him !
When he felt tired on his journey
and looked up to the mountain to travel to,
somehow in his heart he knew,
the one who is taking him through this journey would meet him there !
Hence not giving up, he made his journey !
He reached the mountain top,
and not being numbed or stuck,
by the enormity of what he was getting into,
belief in the Mightiness, Goodness and Faithfulness of God overpowering him,
moved forward to do what he had to !
In the heaven God was amazed,
Called his Angels and proudly rejoiced,
such love, such trust, such obedience from his beloved on earth,
"him I will make Father of Nations,
through his seed I will bless the nations !"
On the mountain, Abraham heard a voice ;
a voice of caring assurance ;
his heart skipped when he saw the lamb ;
not at the sight of the lamb,
but the one who provided for him hitherto, had provided again.
the lamb took the place of the precious he feared would lose.
the lamb took the pain, suffering, destiny,
so that Abraham and his precious need not suffer loss and pain,
He continued his journey rejoicing, along with his loved ones,
to see more of God's mightiness and faithfulness for his generations !
What does your journey look like now ?
What emotions your heart carries ?
What are the thoughts that overwhelm you ?
Be not numbed ; Be not stuck ;
Walk the journey with the little strength you have,
For when you reach the mountain
you will meet your provider,
for the lamb took the place of precious you fear to lose !2
for the lamb of God was already slain years ago,
taking the pain, curse and all unwanted on himself
and freeing us from it all,
good and perfect gifts for every burden placed on the lamb !
for the lamb is slain to prosper God's will/ desire for you;3
and father's desire is thoughts of goodness and to prosper you.4
Each one of us walk a different journey,
for some it may seem tiring or heavy or lonely or unfair,
for some it may be guilt - of missed opportunities, of mistakes
for some it may be ignorance, weakness, sin, rebellion,
for none it is perfect, for none a smooth walk !
For all it is what we behold when we walk !
Behold the one who already awaits
Behold and receive his Light, Life and Power,
Hear the voice of Shepherd who calls,
Even if we falter he gets us back.
When the journey gets tough,
Remember the Lordship of 'The Maker of heaven and earth' ;
Remember the Faithfulness of 'The Promise keeper' ;
Remember Him 'Sovereign' and 'Might' over all ;
Remember His Love for you, most of all !
Walk your journey, reach the mountain
for YAHWEH YIREH - “On the mountain of the LORD, it will be provided.”

Fruits of the Spirit ! ❤️
God dwells within us ;
Sprit of God dwells within us !
Arise mightily within us, oh Spirit of God ;
Help our soul to give your fruits ;
Fruits of the Spirit ! 1
Fruits of Love – Joy – Peace ;
Faith – Self control – Gentleness ;
Goodness – Kindness – Endurance !
By our own flesh’s strength, it is tough ;
Unless you empower us, oh Spirit of God,
we tend to yield only our flesh’s fruits,
in our weakness, lacks, temptations, fear.
In our ignorance, iniquities, infirmities,
Rise mightily within us, oh Spirit of God,
help us yield your fruits always !2
May Love, Joy, Peace fill my heart
even amidst hatred, fear and chaos around.
Plant Faith in my heart or increase my insufficient faith,
when situations tries to plant doubt and fear ;
Increase my Self control ,
when my freedom, resources and power increases ;
Help me grow more in Gentleness,
as I increase in stature and authority ;
Remind me always to be Good and Kind to others,
even when my emotions want to do otherwise ;
Increase my Endurance when people overwhelm me,
and situations around me tempt me to burst ;
But oh Lord, let not my kindness, Goodness and Endurance
allow others to control and rule me.
Rise mightily to remind me, you only is the Lord ;
My kingdom is yours only not any other power’s !
Your Will is done here not any other power’s !
Not the will/desire of the world, its people, darkness or even my own flesh;
But only my Father’s will,
For the will of my Father is Peace, healing and secured rest for me.3
And his thoughts for me are Good always
And his plan is to Prosper me !4

When our spirit aligns with Spirit of God, it empowers our soul to yield the fruits of the spirit. Otherwise we often give in to our flesh's emotions and react, respond. It is difficult and takes our willingness and hardwork over years to discipline our flesh to subdue and listen to the spirit's guidance within!
The Love and Power of God enables us to come to that place ! -

Prayers for our Journey- 💫5. GRACE ! … for our tough journey!
Prayer : “Jesus…cover me with your blood and qualify me for Your Grace !“
When days become tough with tasks,
Time becomes Precious,
We rush to put all our effort into the task without wasting our time.
But a few minutes as we begin the day,
to calm and empower us makes the difference.
Try it to experience,
the effect of Grace merged with your efforts !
Try it to experience,
‘the one who understands all your concerns,’ beside you !
Never alone but with my Father !Prayer:
Jesus, Cover me with your Blood;
Cover my gaps (lacks) ;
Cover my infirmity, ignorance, iniquity ;
Cover me and Qualify me to get Your Grace. (Psalm 32:1 )
Grace that works for me – brings favor and opens doors ;
Grace that works within me – strengthening my spirit ;
– (Spirit of God raise mightily within me and empower me);
Grace that leads me to receive Your Goodness and Mercy ;
Grace that brings Success in this present situation of mine.
Abide with me Lord !
My efforts and Your Grace,
Glorifies you (shows your working power ) God, here on earth.

ARISE, ARISE, Put on your Strength, O Zion !❤️… in times of waiting and unsurety !
ARISE, ARISE, Put on your Strength, O Zion ! Isaiah 52:1
Draw strength from within you and put it on.
Spirit of God dwells within us. (John 14:17b)
We are the Zion because GOD dwells in us. ( Luke 17:21 )
Spirit of God within us, supplies all our needs –
Wisdom and Understanding,
Counsel and Strength,
God’s fear and Knowledge,
as required for our day to day life.
He teaches our fingers to fight.
( Psalm 144:1 ) (i.e, to do what we ought to do)
He also fights on our behalf. (Lord of Hosts)
His Grace brings Favor and opens doors for us.
In times of waiting and unsurety,
He plants and increases Faith and Hope ;
He gives us power to cast away negative imaginations,
and see the positive. (2 Cor 10:5 KJV)
He increases our Self Control to control our emotions ;
He helps us to remain in Gentleness inspite of what we face ;
He gives us the warmth of his Love giving us the assurity ;
He fills our heart with Joy and Peace that passeth all understanding ;
He helps us to be Good and Kind amidst whom we face ;
He increases our Endurance as we stumble in our situations ;
and at the same time, not let any other power (people, world, dark)
to control and rule over us, because,
we have called on him as our Lord and Father.
In Every day life,
it is up to us to call on him
and draw Strength from within us,
the Spirit of God within us.
ARISE, ARISE, Put on your Strength, O Zion !

Prayers for our Journey – 💫 4. Turning our thoughts / feelings into prayer !
Prayer : “Jesus…axyz?&#!?” ….. instead of “axyz?&#?!“
As we navigate through in this world, never forget to tell all your emotions to God.
Instead of repeatedly thinking within our mind about something and overwhelming ourselves …… include Jesus to that, and ask/tell your questions/emotions to him.
ie, when you think "axyz?&#!?"….. you compound your emotions of hurt, irritation, anger, disappointment, sadness, anxiety and will be stuck in your path.
But instead if you ask "Jesus…axyz?&#!?"….. His Light will shine in, in that situation, and he will give you the clarity to see that situation in the proper perspective and move forward in the right way.
Force your mind to add Jesus to your recurring thoughts.
Keep talking of your emotions / questions to God and with his light, keep moving forward in your journey.
"Jesus…axyz?&#!?" instead of "axyz?&#!?"
That’s a prayer he loves ❤️ to hear!Prayer :
Lord Jesus, this...has happened/is happening to me.
The hit is hard.
The pain is real - it hurts/ irritates / angers / saddens / worries me.
Sometimes these feelings/thoughts try to overwhelm me.
I give all my emotions / thoughts / this situation into your hands Jesus.
I Trust in your Almightiness.
I know that your Power and Wisdom is far greater than any man's/spirit's.
I need you to come in with your Light.
Give me Clarity to see this in the right perspective.
Give me Power to do what I should do.
Your Power and Wisdom will overtake mine/other's and work on this.
Work for me ! - Work through me !
Let only your Desire be done.
Only your Rulership here.

Prayers for our Journey – 💫 3. ‘I hand over my 5 loaves and 2 fishes to you Lord.’ !
Prayer : ‘I hand over my 5 loaves and 2 fishes to you Lord. I give you permission to use it’ !
A very familiar miracle we know of. The small boy, seeing the need of the situation, seeing the lack around him, handed over the only thing he had - 5 barley loaves and 2 fishes to Jesus. Jesus used that to do a miracle and fulfilled the needs of many and removed the lack in that environment!
Recognizing what is around us ! :
Do we see a lack some where very close to us - in our family, in people, in situations around us. Do we see a need that cannot be resolved, however much we tried by our human efforts.
Then take the 5 loaves and 2 fishes which you have and give it to Jesus.
So what is the 5 loaves and 2 fishes you have?
Do you feel that you have nothing in your hand to give?
Recognizing what is with us ! :
When God put us here on earth, to each one of us he gave some authority -Stewardship.
None of us are here emptyhanded !
He gave us a family and relationships - a home, a spouse, children, a job, responsibility, people around us and our own self - body, spirit and soul !
He gave us some Authority through our stewardship.
If God brings people around us - in relationships through blood or marriage or part of a team, society, as friends - he has given us some access in that relationship.
He gave us some Access through our relationships.
Partnering with God ! :
Many times when inspite of our human efforts and intelligence, nothing changes, the Authority and Access we have in our relationships, could be the only 5 loaves and 2 fishes we can offer.
God can work wonders in our situations through these 2 simple offerings !Prayer :
Jesus, we know that you are a God who respects the Power of Choice you have given to us - the humankind.
We know that you will not barge in or force us to do Father's desires ;
You wait at the door waiting for us to let you in ;
You need us to give you access and authority to come into that situation and work on it ;
You need us or someone on our behalf - to call for ; wish for your help ; to open the doors for you ; to come into our situations and work your way.
Jesus, We see the need, we see the lack, we see the disorder around us.
But our human effort and intelligence fails us, Nothing changes !
Like that small boy , we hand over the only 5 loaves and 2 fishes we have to you.
Jesus, we hand over our Authority in this stewardship you have given us.
Jesus, we hand over our small Access in relationships and situations we are in right now.
We give you permission to come in and work your way.
Come in Jesus, Work through the lacks and disorder, move the situations.
Shine your Light on us, within us, Remove every darkness.
Help us to go forward in our Journey.
For we know with what we give in your hands,
We will see the miracle of 'lack removed', 'needs satisfied' and 'Joy abound' !

Prayers for our Journey – 💫 2. ‘Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven !’
Prayer : ‘Your kingdom come, your will (desire) be done, on earth as it is in heaven.‘
Emperors and Kings :
In ancient times, we read of Emperors who conquered lands near and far and annexed it and expanded their kingdom.
Sometimes, the smaller kings willingly submitted to the emperor, so they could enjoy the protection against enemies and the benefits, the emperor provides with his large army and power.
The Emperor had the Sovereign power, yet he gave power to his Kings.
So the Kings ruled over their kingdoms, had power, took care, yet the Sovereign power lies with the Emperor and his desire was done through out his kingdom.
My Kingdom :
Like the smaller kings, to each one of us when God put us on earth, he did give a kingdom, he did give us power - stewardship over atleast certain things / people. A family, a spouse, children, a team, society, a space, house, organization and people he puts in our life and our own self - body, spirit and soul. None of us he sends here empty handed.
There is a kingdom he has given to each one of us ! Whether to rule on our own OR to surrender to the Sovereign God and rule our kingdom under his guidance - The choice is ours !
Prayer :
Let your Kingdom come ! and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.' !
Lord ! Who am I to wish that your kingdom comes to earth !
Lord ! who am I to wish that your will is done on earth !
Lord ! Who am I to say that people here on earth, speak and do your desires !
Lord ! What reach or control do I have, over things happening here on earth !
Let my kingdom become yours ! Let your desires be established in my kingdom !
Lord ! help me not to worry about my inability to change the earth and bring Your Kingdom here ;
Lord ! help me not only to strive in prayer and deeds to bring Your Kingdom to the whole earth ;
Lord ! help me to Surrender my small kingdom to You ;
Lord ! Give me the Wisdom and show me how I can make my kingdom Yours ;
Lord ! Give me the Strength and Humility to surrender my kingdom to You ;
Lord ! Send me the Help needed that my kingdom become Yours ;
Lord ! I establish Your Rulership in my Kingdom - over me and all that you have given me !
Lord, my Kingdom is Yours !
only Your Rulership in my kingdom ;
only Your Desire be done here ;
only Your Voice prevails here ;
